Thor v Hulk Confirmed As Loki Opens Up On Doctor Strange’s Role In Ragnarok

Tom Hiddleston was in a candid mood on Sunday night, opening up to the press about what he believes will occur for Thor: Ragnarok before it hits cinemas later in the year. The actor caused something of a fuss at the Golden Globes via his acceptance speech for Best Actor in AMC's series The Night Manager. Resulting in the actor quickly sending out an apology on Facebook on Monday morning to state that nerves had got the better of the 35-year old.

Yet it was backstage where he let his hair down to share in a funny moment with Nicole Kidman before chatting all things Thor. Playing the mischievous Loki in the franchise, MTV News thought they would push him on what we can expect for the upcoming blockbuster.

"Doctor Strange has intensely cerebral time-bending powers," said Hiddleston. "At the end of Thor: The Dark World, Loki's on the throne...what happened to Odin? So, maybe Doctor Strange has to help out with that particular conundrum."

Ending Throws Up More Questions Than Answers

Thor The Dark World Loki Ending

Exactly how Benedict Cumberbatch's character could influence the events in the Thor world regarding Loki is anyone's guess. The crossover has begun to take place at the conclusion of Doctor Strange, where Chris Hemsworth asks for the superhero's assistance. The throne of Asgard is the key position of power, but the plight of Odin is left up in the air.

Some argue that Loki killed Anthony Hopkins character for good, however the veteran is said to reprise his role. Could it be a flashback or will he come back to take what is his? Clearly Hiddleston knows more than he is letting on. And, outside of comic book fans that understand the material inside out, the rest of us will have to wait until October 25, 2017 to discover what really happened to Odin.
