looking forwared to the releaseI'm very much looking forward to watching this film. Shane Acker seems a very promising filmmaker, and when teamed with Tim Burton, the possibility of 9 being great is really high.

actually...Jaded_girl2, Burton is only producing the film, he's not directing. The orginal director of the short is doing the film as well.

9This looks absolutely amazing!

9This short was started in 2003 so if anything Little Big Planet copied off 9. And this wasn't started by Hollywood, other than Burton having the vision to buy it off a young Shane Acker. It should be fantastic.

Response To AllI have seen the original short film of what will soon be a full length film. The short was simply amazing, and there is alink posted to it somewhere on the comments. Even though there were no voices in the short, I am confident that Burton will do more than justice to the short. I think that the Coheed song fits in perfectly with the trailer, making it very moving. I absolutly cannot wait to see this movie. Tim Burton is one of the best in the buisness, and I know that he will not fail.

Short Film by Shane Acker,I saw 9 as a short film (by Shane Acker) at an animation festival 2 years ago. They announced that it was picked up by Tim Burton to help fund it into a full feature. Glad it's done! Here's the original short that inspired the film. 10 min.

It was so impactful that the characters didn't speak. Don't know how I feel about it now with voices.

hell yesthis movie looks interesting at worse. the mere choice to use Co&Ca in the trailer shows that its gonna be good. although I wish they would have used a different song..im getting tired of welcome home
