TrailerAddict was created for those who understand what it means to be a fan of movie trailers. Getting to the theater early on purpose, we are bound by the knowledge that trailers are (at times) better than the films they represent. TrailerAddict has been built not for those who like a good trailer now and then, but those who understand that the need to watch trailers is a state of mind.

TrailerAddict offers trailers in high-definition (when available) through our custom trailer player. Can't view our player? Then you must download Flash 9 (required). Our custom player allows users to read a description of said trailer while adjusting it to any size they see fit - including fullscreen. Unlike other video hosts, TA allows its users to embed hi-definition trailers for viewing wherever they want.

Always building upon our database, TrailerAddict allows users to find trailers by film, genre, actor, actress or any other type of category worth mentioning. Updated daily, TA delivers both new and old trailers and clips from films released anywhere between 1950 and 2008.

If there is a trailer coming we will either know about it or already be hosting it.

TrailerAddict went live December 1st, 2007 and has been growing consistently ever since. Google Analytics reports over 1,000,000 visitors to TrailerAddict each month, most of which is Canadian and US traffic.

In order to deliver high-definition trailers in an efficient manner, TrailerAddict currently employs a custom network of hosts and file servers.

Embedded trailers link to our host, which balances the load across our current array of file servers. We've recently been expanding our network! We've recently swapped out and replaced some of our older *cough*slower*cough* servers.

Those who call themselves "Trailer Addicts" usually have a well-rounded knowledge about film. To test your IQ, TrailerAddict hosts trivia contests that requires users to answer a number of clues/questions to arrive at a finish line. Winners for every trivia contest will be awarded prizes ranging from posters to toys, DVDs and other film merchandise.

To play, pay attention to the TrailerAddict homepage. Whenever a contest is running you will be immediately alerted to it through a pop-in announcement box. There you will find your first clue to get you up and running.

Have something to say about the trailer/clip you are watching? Then you're in luck!

For those of you who can't keep your opinions bottled up, TrailerAddict accepts comments. If this is your first time leaving a comment, a verification email will be sent to your supplied email address. You must activate your account (by clicking a link provided in your activation email) before your comments can be seen.

Remember your supplied username, as this username will be forever attached to the supplied email address. When adding comments in the future, remember to use the SAME email address AND username. If the two do not match, our form will alert you to edit your supplied information. If you'd like to change your username, feel free to contact us direct with your request.

Still waiting on your activation email?
Check your SPAM folder! Some public email accounts automatically send TrailerAddict email (Addict is problematic) to the SPAM folder. The activation letter sometimes takes over an hour to arrive, so please be patient. If you do not receive an activation letter in an hour's time, feel free to write TrailerAddict (email provided to the right) from the same exact email address you need activated. Have the subject say 'ACTIVATION'. We can then activate your user account.
