Description

Trailer for the documentary The Mother and the Sea.

Vila Cha is the only place on Earth where traditions of fishing formed exclusively by women still live. Despite their age, the old ladies keep on entering the sea to catch fish. A purely cinematographic portrait of an invisible, already mythical Europe that is fading away, like waves on the sea.
