Chris Pratt’s Cowboy Ninja Viking Scores 2019 Release Date

If the 38-year old didn't already have enough on his plate, Chris Pratt has ventured forward with an ambitious comic adaptation titled Cowboy Ninja Viking. Developed by writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo, the series began in 2010 and since their capture of Pratt as the lead actor and producer, the backroom staff have been bolstered with the inclusion of Mark Gordon, Michael De Luca and Guymon Casady as fellow producers.

This will be another big budget installment for the Minnesota native to front, playing Star-Lord within the Guardians of the Galaxy and MCU banners while also portraying Owen Grady for Jurassic World and its upcoming sequel. If there were raised eyebrows about his Marvel credentials, then the title alone of Cowboy Ninja Viking will have audiences puzzled.

According to Deadline, this Image Comics adaptation will land in theaters on June 28, 2019. The summer slot will face some stiff competition against DC/Warner Brothers, Disney and Marvel with the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming debuting shortly after on July 5, 2019.

If the synopsis is any guide though, there won't be anything quite like Cowboy Ninja Viking.

"It started with Dr. Sebastian Ghislain: rogue psychotherapist/covert op/DJ. Tasked with creating a counter-intelligence unit, he turned to those long thought useless to society... patients with Multiple Personality Disorder. These agents became known simply as Triplets. Misguided? Yeah. Impractical? Sure. But did it work? Absolutely not. Now someone has located each Triplet and created a band of ridiculously disturbed, but highly effective assassins. Our only hope? A Triplet known as Cowboy Ninja Viking!"

Beloved Hollywood Pair Announce Split

A post shared by Anna Faris (@annafaris) on

With Pratt posting an almost identical post on his Facebook page earlier this week, he and his partner Anna Faris made it public that they had legally separated. After meeting in 2007, marrying in 2009 before their son Jack was born in 2012, the infamous couple are no longer an item.

Faris would take to social media to say the following:

"We are sad to announce we are legally separating," said the statement. "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together. Anna Faris and Chris Pratt."

Since her breakout performance in the comedy franchise Scary Movie, the actress has been a regular on the CBS sitcom Mom.
