Carrie Fisher: I Had An Affair With Harrison Ford During Star Wars Filming

Opening up with People through her book The Princess Diarist, Carrie Fisher explained that she grew ever closer to co-star Harrison Ford on the set of Star Wars: A New Hope. And, during those three months, they shared an intimate affair. According to THR, the outspoken 60-year old wrote that the pair were inseparable in 1976 prior to the 1977 release, with Ford cheating on his then 19-year old wife Mary Marquardt.

"It was so intense," began Fisher. "It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend... I looked over at Harrison. A hero's face — a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow. How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?"

Bombshell Opens Questions About Force Awakens Reunion

The book does open up plenty of behind-the-scenes scuttlebutt for fans and Star Wars lovers to sift over. Especially since now they know what went on behind the scenes. People claims that the affair began when the couple attended a birthday party for director George Lucas. And, while Ford was aware that this revelation would be made public, neither him nor his representatives have decided to make a public comment.

In the aftermath of the book with the eye catching excerpts now available for public consumption, Fisher posted some unusual tweets that might have appeared to backtrack or contextualize the issue. She said she would never talk about how someone was in any furniture i.e. bed. All while suggesting that she was out of commission by the time this story ran away from her control.

Rebels And Death Star To Feature In Rogue One

Back to the small matter of the December release of Star Wars: Rogue One... IMAX has given fans a new dose of media for the film courtesy of a new poster. The image shows the new character of Jyn Erso to be played by Felicity Jones.

Her co-stars are of high quality in Hollywood, with the caliber of Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, and Mads Mikkelsen. All linking up with Jones for the production. Don't expect any sexy gossip though for this movie. Not at least until one of the stars writes a tell-all book some 40 years later.
