Let's wait and see
As a big horror movie fan, I will see it, but I gotta say, it doesn't look like a standout horror movie to me. Movies like REC or Mullberry Street...movies with regular-looking people facing horrific situations.

Will get an Oscar
It has imitated the spider walk routine from the Exorcist which has proved immensly successful around the world.

It has depicted every phenomena that can re-interpreted as non paranormal e.g. out of the body experiences.

I think this one will get an Oscar. [Link]

okay....
It looks pretty good, with Micheal Bay producing it, and David S. Goyer Writing it what could go wrong? David S. Goyer is directing it, the las time he directed a movie it was'nt so good.

Eh, this looks like it will fall right in line with other j-horros like the ring, the eye, or the grudge. I don't know if this is a j-horror, but it looks and feels like one enough to give me that "meh" feeling.
