Trailer for The Kids Are All Right.

The Kids Are All Right is the heartfelt new comedy from acclaimed director Lisa Cholodenko, starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, and Mark Ruffalo. Two teenaged children (Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson) get the notion to seek out their biological father and introduce him into the family life that their two mothers (Bening and Moore) have built for them. Once the donor (Ruffalo) is found, the household will never be the same, as family ties are defined, re—defined, and re—re—defined.

One of my favorites

Ahh, one of my favorite movies. I got teary several times, and half wished that Annette Bening had won the Oscar for best actress that year.

I actually just bought this on Blu-Ray the other day, and I watched it last night. I had to go back and see the trailers!

One thing that I'm excited for - there's a book coming out soon called "What Came First" by Carol Snow (http://www.carolsnow.com). Like The Kids are All Right, it's about a woman who uses a sperm donor to concieve. I loved that part of the movie, and I'm excited to read this book. Thought I'd share!
