The Failed Prince

theyre making it stupid like a Dreamworks movie cuz all Dreamworks movies appeal to all age groups and both genders. However the reason y The Princess and the Frog failed is because no1 wants to see a black princess and blacks were offended by the portrayal of said princess. Disney can try forcing princess and the frog merch but it doesnt get sold!

Bad trailer, but ive still got high hopes.

I think it looks OK and looks WAY more promising in concept arts. Disney promised that this is just a (bad, im my opinion) marketing technique. They explained that girls will go to guys movies but guys refuse to go to chick-flicks (twilight for example. it did great but 90% of the viewers were female. They also said they were making it like a disney classic, unlike the trailer.

bad marketing

and the film will probably be good. I've heard a lot about it over the past two years or so, and It certainly was worse in earlier treatments than it is now. I saw the leaked trailer and thought it had promise and still seems to. The film was meant to look like an oil painting. will see, but I suggest waiting for more content and reviews before judging.

was never 2D

@ Fahd: no, it was never going to be that. The story was and still is meant to be like that. Disney;s attemnpts to get little boys to the movie will totally fail. they cant seem to get that a movie's overall success ofter comes over the years since it's release. Pinocchio and Fantasia and Nightmare went through that. Oh, and to the other guy, "gay" is meant to be an insult used by kids who cant even count to ten. Alan Menken's music is not even mentioned here, but it still is in the movie.
