Mei (Catherine Chan) is a 10 year-old Chinese math prodigy who is abducted from her home in Nanjing by the Triads; she is sent to America by the Triad Leader Han Jiao (James Hong), where she will serve as a "counter" for their extortion racquets. No computers, no paper trails - she keeps all the numbers in her head. One year later Mei's new adopted "father" Chang (Reggie Lee) brings her along to count the numbers as he shakes-down his business operations.

saw this movie, and I can watch it again, and again, and again. So much freakin action. Make sure you go potty before the movie cause you dont wanna miss any of the action.

Your comment is 'enormously unoriginal'. There is no original idea in narrative media. Just saying...

I know I might catch some heat from his loyal fanbase, but this might be the only Statham movie I've ever been excited about seeing. If the acting isn't as rigid as it looks (in places) it could be a really strong movie. But the whole 'New York' underworld thing *is* way overplayed. You'd think crime was never committed anywhere else except for L.A. and an occasionally ultra dilapidated Detroit.

Looks enormously unoriginal...and yet...It's fraking Jason Statham.. as long as he's active and they show enough action from him - no greenscreens or CGI for the love of Pete - I'm game.
