This looks absolutely fantastic. I'm pleasantly surprised. I wonder how many Kick-Ass fans will see this and feel bitterly disappointed?

Excellent film

This film is absolutely excellent, especially in that it barely touches on The Beatles, spending most of its time telling John Lennon's very real story of growing up with a family torn apart. It came out late last year in Australia and England, long before Kickass was released, so I knew him more from this than from that.
And that he's married the director of this.

Aaron Johnson

I can't believe that's Aaron Johnson playing John Lennon. I couldn't recognize him! Then again, I only know him for playing Dave Lizewski/ Kick-Ass.
