wow

Awesome
I agree, it does look a lot like Dark City crosses the Matrix. But Nolan has this ability to take these ideas and take it to the next level. It's going to be awesome.

Bravo Christopher, Bravo...
Now what does Christopher Nolan have up his sleeve, magic I hope. Always wanting to be different, that's what makes Christopher Nolan SO GOOD. From 'Momento', 'Insomnia', 'Batman Begins', 'The Prestige', 'The Dark Knight', and now INCEPTION, how can we be disappointed? EVERYONE ON THIS PAGE (excluding 'agent83' & maybe some others) LOVES C.N. I liked 'Dark City' and loved 'The Matrix' and 'The Thirteenth Floor' (very underrated). Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon Levitt will be added to his future CASTING CALLS (maybe on a future set of a Batman Sequel?). NICE!

Love the teaser.
looks like a mix between the matrix and dark city. A good mind thriller.

OMG
This looks so sick. I can't wait to watch. Christoper Nolan and Leonardo DiCaprio together is pure bliss! You can't forget Joseph Gorden-Levitt either.

spoiler warning
Hey Manuel, maybe next time you should put spoiler before you reveal plot points not everyone wants to know.
by Te Jota | August 31, 2009, 9:03AM
Intriguing
Could go flop or be hot, a lot of great casts in upcoming movies though.
by Sacha | August 31, 2009, 5:29AM

by agent83 | August 30, 2009, 9:30AM
You bunch of NOOBZ
This movie looks like a rip-off of "Dark City" (1998). I can't believe out of all these comments none of you realize this.

You guys are a bunch of cinema NOOBZ.

The seventh Nolan film to be the best?
This movie will be effin'-sick! okay, Chris Nolan knows what he's doing and DiCaprio is a great actor. Hans Zimmer (my favorite composer) always makes a great soundtrack.

This is a sci-fi movie that's set in the present, how many times have you seen that and not have it be about superheroes or giant robots? And it literally takes place within the architecture of the mind. Beautiful, Nolan, simply beautiful. DiCaprio has the some drug or something that allows him to go into peoples' dreams or mind and he's framed for his wife's suicide, is all I know about the set-up of the film so far. Wish I had more but Nolan loves to keep his stuff locked up tight. He's got more security than freakin' J.J. Abrams!

WoW!!!
Looks Good!!! +_+
by RIDDLER | August 25, 2009, 12:49PM
Hmmm
Strange. It's got Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Nolan's Direction, Zimmer's music. It seems like you could add Christian Bale and Gary Oldman and have another Batman film. What up with the mazes? IS DICAPRIO THE RIDDLER? HAS NOLAN BEEN SECRETLY MAKING THE NEXT BATMAN MOVIE THIS WHOLE TIME???
by t_l | August 25, 2009, 11:43AM
hmm
Wish the sound quality was better on this one :( Overall looks pretty sick!
by cavemanweston | August 25, 2009, 10:27AM

Doesnt explain much.
by dissdigg | August 25, 2009, 7:59AM

Nolaness
From the trailer it looks like Matrix meets 13th floor...well give that Nolan knows his craft, I ma just glad that there is something big awaiting us in 2010.
by smee | August 24, 2009, 6:26PM
interesting
not entirely sure what this movie is about, but it has leonardo dicaprio and that is enough to get me to see a movie. he's one of the best there is right now.
by CKaboth | August 24, 2009, 5:26PM
Ok...
I'm interested to say the very least, want to see a more of a proper trailer than this teaser. The fight at the end looks quite amazing.

Nolan rules
This film will not disappoint :) Nolan's track record speaks for itself.

- Music cue. The music is done by Hans Zimmer. He also did the music for The Dark Knight.

Inception
Looks good, but should have more details to make me want to see it.
by jgiles | August 24, 2009, 1:57PM
music cue
awesome . who does the music?
by Fletch | August 24, 2009, 12:25PM
Joseph Gordon Leavitt
I see Joseph Gordon Leavitt is in this (3rd Rock and 500 days of Summer). He is bound for greatness and this looks like a good career move.
by flabbybuns | August 24, 2009, 11:33AM
Looks Sweet!
Holy crap that's a lot of visuals considering that this film is a year out. Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio has become quite the fan of the thriller genre.

It's Christopher Nolan, so I have no doubt this film is going to be sweet. (and I don't mind the gong effect)
by Yin | August 24, 2009, 10:54AM
Interesting
I admit, this trailer has piqued my full interest and I find myself rather intrigued.
by Farzan | August 24, 2009, 10:44AM
Looks alright
Looks alright, but I cant beleive Warner Bros. gave Nolan a $200 million budget for this film. These kind of movies would perform better at the boxoffice if they had Will Smith.
by doggonahogg | August 24, 2009, 10:42AM
I'm there
Inception, or Christopher Nolan owning the shit out of yet another genre. It's gonna rock, clearly.
by Stunn | August 24, 2009, 9:46AM
DUN DUN DUN DUN
DUNNNN DUNNNN DUNNNN DUNNN DUNNN DUNNN DUNNN DUNNNNN DUNNNNNN DUNNN
by randeez | August 24, 2009, 9:38AM
annoying
Looks different. The constant gong in the trailer is very annoying though.
by Uddhav Ghosh | August 24, 2009, 9:22AM

The Lord Be Praised...Chris Nolan is back!
by travis | August 24, 2009, 9:03AM
