I wish that they didn't take such license with period vocabulary and facts. The story ends for me when they have no idea about the law at that time or that penny candy was a penny a pound not 2 cents a handful. It ruins it for my family. The judge ignored standing laws about natives and blacks. Being native american, I find it as offensive as Tonto and Lone Ranger.
