The film will serve as a reunion for Christina Hendricks and Nicolas Winding Refn, who worked together on Drive.
After Drive I was an immediate fan of Nicolas Winding Refn, but that all changed with Only God Forgives; which I hated.
So now I see The Neon Demon, even with this cool trailer, to be somewhat of a wildcard. The film is however perfect for Amazon Studios, who will take advantage of their premium network to ensure the highest viewership available.
Also, kudos to Elle Fanning for looking all grown up.
