Star Wars: The Last Jedi may be Director Rian Johnson's big break and turn his name into a household name. But, he has already had some success Directing the great films Brick, The Brothers Bloom and Looper.

Also, although Star Wars: Episode IX is still over two years away (May 2019), Rian Johnson has already been announced as one of the Writers for the film...Colin Trevorrow will be the Director.

Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) does talk in this film...LOL.

Carrie Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd will reprise her role as Lieutenant Connix.

We finally have our first look the next film in the Star Wars universe and I am so glad that they did not disappoint and deliver something at Star Wars Celebration. If you are not in Orlando or did not see the live stream, Director Rian Johnson first announced that he had something to show the audience and that it was a poster. You could hear the let down in the audience, but then after revealing the poster he announced that he also had this teaser.

I think this teaser is what you would expect to see. It gives us glimpses at the returning characters from The Force Awakens and not much else. We get to see the back of Leia's head, that Finn is in fact still alive and Poe and BB8 still together.

Also, we see some interaction between Rey and Luke including what looks like Luke training her on the island. And then the last scene in the teaser gives us an idea behind the meaning of the film's title and that is Luke that want the Jedi to end.

It is hard to not get excited about a new Stars Wars film and of course no matter what they give us for trailers I will see this one. What did you think of the teaser?
