Spectre is the first Bond film not to feature the iconic trumpet playing of Derek Watkins. The musician had featured on every Bond soundtrack since Dr. No in 1962, and passed away shortly after the release of Skyfall in 2012.
Gary Oldman was approached to play the role of Franz Oberhauser but wouldn't commit to six months filming across the world. The role went to Christoph Waltz, instead.
Monica Belluci becomes the oldest Bond girl, at age 53. She previously screen tested for Tomorrow Never Dies but the part went to Teri Hatcher.

Nobody does spy films better than James Bond. Often likened but never bettered, over the years there have been many incarnations of the secret agent and many movies made. Some are better than others, and everyone seems to have their favorite Bond or their favorite era of films but with the advancement of special effects and the increase of budgets, each film gets bigger than the last.
For Spectre, Daniel Craig's fourth Bond outing, we are lured under the spell of Franz Oberhauser, head of Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion (SPECTRE). Bond fans will recognize this as the terror group associated with one of the greatest Bond villains of all time, Blofeld.
So, who is Oberhauser exactly? Is he connected to Blofeld? Is he Blofeld in disguise? Well one thing's for sure; this trailer is giving nothing away. Christoph Waltz's brief appearance is chilling though, which is strange because we don't feel the same threat from Bond even though their conversation is basically both of them saying the same thing.
The trailer above is the theatrical trailer and it is exactly the type of thing you want to see before a movie. It does just the job of making us want to see the movie, because it's packed with everything that makes Bond great; fast-paced, high octane action sequences, shoot outs, cars and of course, the devilishly suave Bond himself. How many ladies can he woo this time?
