Six years after the events of the first film, the story centers on Wreck-It Ralph's adventures in the Internet data space when a Wi-Fi router gets plugged into the arcade by Mr. Litwak, as he must find a replacement for the broken steering wheel of Sugar Rush. Along the way, Ralph and his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz encounter new customs, worlds, and characters, such as trendy algorithms and the Disney Princess lineup with The Muppets, Star Wars, Disney Animation, Marvel Comics and Pixar characters.
Imagine Dragons is part of the soundtrack and their lead single titled "Zero", will play during the end credits of the movie. John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, and Sarah Silverman are set to reprise their roles, while Moore returns as director joined by the first film's co-writer, Phil Johnston, in his directing debut in an animated film and Clark Spencer returns as producer. This will be Disney's 57th animated feature film.
Ralph Breaks the Internet is a darker edgier version of the original. No more bright colors and bubble gum alley like Wreck-it-Ralph. But there is one thing that will continue from the original, the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope plus lots of racing. The one thing I am waiting to see how it plays out is the villain in the film. In the first film they made fun of a group of villains starting their own therapy group and in this film we get plenty of cameos from Disney Princesses, The Muppets, Star Wars, Disney Animation, Marvel Comics and Pixar characters.
