The execution of this trailer, which plays more likes a teaser trailer, was spot on. It acts and introduction to the plot and unique characters, in case viewers are not aware of the book, and lays out a general over all whimsical feel for the film. I do love how they have not given out too much with this first trailer, they even have not revealed Jacob's (Asa Butterfield) "Peculiar" power. This trailer nailed it, and has me wanting more.
