The release date for Kingsman: The Golden Circle has had several changes. It was originally scheduled to be released on June 16, 2017, but was moved back to September 29, 2017 in the UK and on October 6, 2017 in the United States. Then, the release date for the U.S. wasmoved up a week in the latter region for a simultaneous release on September 22, 2017.

20th Century Fox must be fairly confident that this sequel will do well at the box office because the plans for a third film have already been announced. Director Matthew Vaughn revealed that he and co-writer Jane Goldman had already begun mapping out another installment. “When we were writing it, we were thinking about Kingsman 3 too,” said Vaughn. “This is the bridge, if we can pull it off and get to make another one.”

Look for a cameo by Sir Elton John in the film...he plays a fictionalized version of himself.

I like the approach of this trailer. The first trailer set up the sequel nicely and introduced all the character in a subdued manner. And this trailer goes straight for the action...which is what we expect to see in this film.

A clear example is in the music choices for the trailers. The first trailer used Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and this trailer gives us The Who's "My Generation"...a completely different tempo from trailer to trailer.

While I enjoyed the first film, I was blown away by it. I also did not see a reason for a sequel, but 20th Fox had other plans and is even on track to go for a trilogy. This film looks enjoyable with the action and great cast which puts me on the fence whether or not I will throw down my money to catch it on the big screen or wait to see it in my living room.
