Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she's missing, he's being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth - and maybe even a family.
This will be the second film in which Tom Cruise has worked with director Edward Zwick. Back in 2003 they worked together on The Last Samurai.
Never Go Back is based on the eighteenth book from Lee Child's Jack Reacher series. One Shot, the basis of the first film, is book nine which means this may not be a direct sequel.

Jack Reacher is back! I was a big fan of the first film. It was an action packed right with some crash humor that Tom Cruise is great at pulling off. I have seen the film numerous times and love it each time.
The first Jack Reacher film is on the list of best action films this decade right alongside John Wick. They both have a tough take no prisoner star who uses no gadgets or super hero powers as they completely destroy whoever challenges them.
As much as I think Tom Cruise is whack job personally, I think he is an amazing action actor. He was born for these role and is a perfect fit as Jack Reacher.
