Coco is created by the mega studio Pixar and has a lot of Pixar veterans working on this film. It is Directed by Lee Unkrich (Director for Toy Story 3), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist for Monsters University) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (Toy Story 3).

The voice of the main character Miguel is done by Anthony Gonzalez, which is first time working on a feature film and first time doing any voice over work.

The idea for Coco was first pitched as an idea back in 2010 by Director Lee Unkrich , when Toy Story 3 was released.

You can always count on Pixar to come out with some creative new story lines. And for this one, very little is known up to this point.

We now know that film follows young Miguel, who dreams of becoming a guitar player like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Then, somehow (we may find out later) finds himself in the Land of the Dead after discovering their is a love for music in his family history.

This film has a Book of Life feel to it, but looks more catered toward younger audiences. I know Book of Life was hit or miss for a lot of people and I thought it was just ok. Of course Pixar has released most of my favorite animated films and rarely disappoints, so my hopes are high for Coco but based ont his trailer this film looks just ok too.
