Trailer for Baywatch that was released to international markets shows a compilation of never before seen footage from the film.

Two unlikely prospective lifeguards vie for jobs alongside the buff bodies who patrol a beach in California.

It turns out that the role of summer was a highly competitive one. Though Alexandra Daddario landed the gig, she had to beat out the likes of Nina Dobrev, Alexandra Shipp, Shelley Hennig, Densye Tontz and Ashley Benson. Actress Priyanka Chopra had to take a slightly different route to land the part of lead villain, Victoria Leeds. The character originally had a different name and, wait for it, was written for a man. The part was restructured after director Seth Gordon had lunch with Chopra, therefore building out the character for her.

She isn't the only Bollywood actress migrating over to American actioners in 2017. Deepika Padukone is also having a coming out party with xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

The cast for the feature is strong, but expect a number of secret cameos as well.

To think I ever doubted a Baywatch adaptation. After laughing my way through the teaser trailer, we now have an international version showcasing another dose of never before seen footage. The international trailer also explains all those early set photos where we see Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron enjoying a workout competition on the beach. The new preview also explains that the Bollywood hottie, Priyanka Chopra, is the film's antagonist.

Anything else worth noting? Well, the latest trailer has no regard for censorship, allowing it to drop a few new F bombs. If you were wondering if this film would end up being Rated-R, the dialogue and violence guarantees. One thing that is lacking however is the nudity. With so many skimpy outfits and hotties with bodies, seems like a missed opportunity.
