A woman with a seemingly perfect life - a great marriage, overachieving kids, beautiful home, stunning looks and still holding down a career. However she's over-worked, over committed and exhausted to the point that she's about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms and all go on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities, going on a wild un-mom like binge of freedom, fun and self-indulgence - putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.
The project was originally setup at Paramount Pictures with Leslie Mann set to star and Judd Apatow attached to produce. After the duo exited, the film was setup at Stx Entertainment with Christina Applegate, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis all set to star.
Nothing like starting out with a Red Band Trailer for a raunchy comedy. Although STX Entertainment also released a green band trailer today too, the red band trailer is always the best way to give the user the best example on what he/she is in store for.
As a parent myself, there are definitely times when you feel at you wits end and like you can never keep up with the pressures to live the perfect life. So, I think that aspect will grab most adults' attention and then the crazy comedy will keep them entertained.
Being that the same people who made The Hangover are behind this film, I hope we get a similar crazy ride, but this time the women will be excited to come along too.
