Saving a franchise. The previous X-Men films were tandem at best, this atleast makes it interesting because we're not only immersed in a different era, but we get to see a fresh perspective to the characters' development and backstory. This was the best possible move before exploring additional themes that may not have carried as much weight due to the shakily recieved X3 and Origins: Wolverine. films. Vaughn has not directed a single bad movie. The cast is phenomenal. Respect the old school :P How I've missed me some good 'ol midnight madness!

Back on formFinally...Fox have listened to Vaughn & Singer. Maybe they'll learn something from this. Was gutted when Vaughn left X3 but he had good reason too, he's back and so is the x-franchise back on form. Can't wait for this, visually stunning AND actual character development X3 was missing.

Could be goodI'm hesitant about it but it does look really good. The guy who's playing Magneto looks like he'll be the best part.

eXperience the PastUh...fine, I'll see it...but...BUT..why do we always have to go back to the beginning? They had the perfect cast for the X-Men features: Jackman, Stewart, McKellen, Berry, Paquin, etc. I dont want to see Hannibal as a toddler nor Jason as a drowned victim...You dont have to produce "sequels" just "chapters."

firstclassWolverine is the best of the xmen series so far. Hopefully this does just as well, it looks good.

ExpectationsLooking good.
Confidence in this franchise has diminished since X3 and Wolverine [although I personally loved the latter], so it's important to regain that confidence, and I hope this film is where they get it.

Looks AlrightTheirs just nothing about this film that acreams "Watch Me". It looks better than Wolverine, but thats not saying much. I just dont think Fox knows what to do with the X-Men brand anymore. They really should have locked Singer as the director for this one.
