Flynn livesWell if most of you would think about it for a second, I believe when Flynn took clu back, he ulitmately destoyed the grid with his self included. Yes sam may have turned off the grid but he didn't turn off the grid that Flynn made he turned off a empty world with nothing in it.
Anything on the grid when flynn wiped it out, is more than likely gone for good. Flynn was a human an died, Tron can easily be re-written by Alan. Sam simply saved that empty world so no one else could somehow stumble into it.

Flynn Reborn / AliveI'm leaning towards Flynn being alive, mainly because of the fact that he hands Cora his disk before they leave (how they get out), if the disk had Flynn's entire "Code" on he could be re-assembled just like Cora.
Even though Cora was an ISO (Basically a human)..... but we'll see... Just happy their making a 3rd :-)

@Flynn LivesI agree with your statement entirely, as soon as I first saw Tron hit the the water, I knew as well he was NOT dead but not so sure about the part of Flynn being alive, yes he was on the grid but he was still human. Just like when Sam got sliced by Rinzlers Disc he BLED. So I'm not so sure about that stamet.

Not a teaserThis is actually the wrap up to the Flynn Lives ARG which waqs used to explain how CLU's page got out of the grid and to Bradley's beeper.

?why would they have someone make all of this just for a little video? at the end of tron flynn dies supposbly and when sam comes out of the grid he has a necklace and thinks its cora but he walks out and shes there so what if thats flynn and he could bring him back and thats tr3n? but i have no ideads about the story line and maybe they go back and rebuild the grid ? and the dillengers may be the enemys ? and raam still no thoughts on him please write back to me and i will look over your thoughts thankyou

Flynn LivesPersonally I believe Tron is still alive at least. Flynn being alive is easily settup, but Tron being alive is a given. They -have- to have him simply because of the scene in Tron:Legacy. He hit the water, but he -did not- derezz, the color of his outfit changed to Blue but he was still whole. If they ignore that detail I will be very miffed.
Flynn still being alive can easily be explained with the idea that data is never erased, it simply changes or moves elsewhere. Since Flynn was on the grid, obviously, this means that the system could still have him saved as data. The only true way to erase data is to shut the entire system down and wipe it. Zam only turned the grid off, he didn't wipe it.

wellI feel like tron legacy wasn't even really a sequel but more like a setup for the real sequel. The uncertainity of the future of the grid as well as the fate of tron and whether flynn was truly destroyed when he absorbed clu. The plot was very shallow but it was also fascinating. If they really put some effort into a third movie that really tied up all the loose ends it could easily go down as one of my favorites. Also what was with them completely removing the original tron from stores and online? nobody I know even knew this movie was a sequel and thusly they never gained any attachement to any of the characters. That was a poor strategy of them. I know they just wanted to seperate this movie from the cheesyness of the first but still. ah well

a new religeonWell I can see the potentials here... Tron may not be dead after all... the "grid" still exists... just not what Flynn created. The home team up top is using an underground movement to make him a digital messiah. On top of that, Dillinger's kid is still on board to be the natural protagonist. Let us not forget the unmentioned evolutionary element brought into the picture in the form of a beautiful young woman recently birthed into the real world. Can't wait. I do seriously doubt that much of the trailer will ever make the movie aside from a opening montage to set the scene.

@skip - tron 3@Skip...the Grid was not destroyed. Flynn destroyed Clu and the area surrounding them. Not the Grid as a whole.

Tron 2.5Yes, this is not a trailer per se...this looks like part of a marketing campaign. I saw the movie in the theater, and will be checking it out one more time at least when it hits my DirecTV in a couple of weeks.

Loved ItThat was really cool!!

Tron 3There can't be a Tron 3, the grid was destroyed in Legacy, destroyed by Kevin Flynn Himself.
by DemonBS | March 14, 2011, 7:41PM
Teaser? Not so much...Its not so much of a teaser trailer as it is a treat for the people that followed the "Flynn Lives" viral marketing campaign leading up to Legacy. Clearly they hope to continue in that vein until Tron 3 comes out, which is very much about the conspiracy at Encom (and the return of Dillinger Sr/Sark).

Ram is alive?I thought he died
Oh well
And this looks cool, but they better make it better than the 2nd one.. Legacy was cool and all, but it needed more of a story to avoid the drawn out plot it created.

YawnThe start of it felt like a student film attempting to pull of a larger scale trailer. Wasn't until Boxleitner showed up along with others that it began to feel a bit more real. It's way too long but I'm sure a lot of work went into it.
Hopefully they can expand the world outside of the digital world. Only time will tell.... Where's the villian?

It doesn't seemed like TeaserSeriously.. It doesn't look like a teaser for upcoming movie. It is more like a feature like Watchmen's Under The Hood.

still a fanWould love to see the story get serious about going someplace that doesn't reside entirely in the digital world - it's like the second movie forgot there were real world humans that made the digital world possible, and more concerned about being a "close call'. Flynn Lives!! -fan of the genre
