I'm curious if anyone knows what TRON stands for? I know but I want to see if anyone else knows.

They already broke a simple canon of the TRON world. The guy should have derezzed. Makes me already NOT want to see the movie. But this is the best trailer out so far.

This looks like a great interpretation to the future of the classic. And the fact that they are tying them together with a video game is perfect.

And yes to all of you CGI bashers, it is supposed to be inside a computer program. When you see the people with the neon suits, they are programs.

I have loved Tron since I saw the first one, and this looks like it will add so much more excitement to the lore and story. With todays blockbuster technology, this was a prime time to release a sequal based on computer worlds! Im pumped.

Gibby, you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, the cgi looks fake because they are supposed to be PROGRAM insind a COMPUTER, not "real" people. Here's a suggestion, try watching the original movie, keeping in mind the programming and movie capabilities of 1982, then compare it to what is available now. I think the graphics in this preview are absolutely wonderful, and are in real keeping with the original movie. I can't wait to see it.

When they finally show bearded Jeff Bridges, doesn't it look like he is in the end scene of 2001? The lighting, the Victorian-style table settings...I am really looking forward to this film

I've waited well-over 20 years for this and its finally coming !! I trust Dir. Joseph Kosinski judging from his previous work. I'm so glad the creator of TRON Steven Lisberger is behind this as well. Very interesting to pick Daft Punk as the composers - I love their stuff too. The teaser trailer just exceeds my expectation in a new TRON film. Very smart move to stay close to the original designs. After all both modern and computer world has gone through countless upgrades since 1982. CAN'T WAIT !

I think TRON 2.0 would have worked better as a sequel, but we'll see; first time I saw TRON was in 1984.

This could be either a fairly interesting revisit to the world of Tron, or it could just end up as a shallow rehash. We'll just have to wait and see.

Hey gibby, do you not even know what Tron is? The whole thing takes place in a digital universe inside a computer. It's SUPPOSED to be obvious CGI. That's the whole point.

Agreed. It's crazy that they had this footage a year ago, and it took another to polish it up to actually show to those who couldn't make Con. Well, at least we know they are putting time and effort into it.

I saw the crappy handheld cam of this a year ago from Comic-Con. I have been dying to actually a high-quality version. This looks amazing!
