The Last Airbender

All I have to say is I hope they dont fuck this up. It has already been said this isnt gona be right off the story line of the cartoon which bummed me out. I dont like the arrow and I can agree with the people who mentioned that tjhe kid looks way to sweet. Yes aang has his sweet side but he also had his "Hi..Im gona fuck your world up" side. The symbols do look alittle different which I didnt like a whole lot either.All we can do is pray though. If M.night fucks it up we can skin him and hang him by his scrottum from a tree as a fair warning to the next guy who trys to do a Avatar movie. Either way I think the series should have been continued in Cartoon style movies such as the search for zuko's mom. But who can they honestly make the new villan? Ozai stuck a pretty dam good shadow. I mean come on.. Mark Hammel ? fucking awesome.

I honestly hope they don't screw this up like so many other cartoons directors have already screwed up. i seriously hope they stick to the actual story line so it doesn't turn out to be as much of a let down as the other movies have turned out to be..like spider-man, man that was a huge mistake

Sorry but totally not pleased with this trailer, like some have already said , M. Night has messed up a lot already, just to name a few that really ticked me off, First the tattoo, and second the fucking nation symbols, third so not excited about the kid playing Aang , I mean is that suppose to be his serious face the kid looks to sweet ,they could at least find a kid with a bit more depth to his look, what I'm really trying to say is could this kid take on the more serious side of Aang. But other than that I'm just waiting to see more , I just have a feeling I'll be even further disapointed.

I'm pumped for this one....I watched the cartoon and I can't wait to see where they've taken it as a movie!!!!!

I haven't really liked one of his movies in quite a while. This teaser doesn't show too much of anything, so I have to reserve judgement.

Im glad it's a year,because my 5 year old love this show, and I started to watch it with her because she was so insistant about it, now I can't wait to see it everyday, and she might be old enough to go to the theater to see it. have to wait for the full trailer to see if it's not to violent for her to watch.

As a complete dork, I watched the cartoon series, and enjoyed it immensely. I'm gonna definitely see this movie. It doesn't have to perfect, just decent. I'll try not to judge it off the series.

I am a hard core fan of the series and just from this trailer they messed up A LOT already, i'm kinda disopionted M. Night is doing this =/ he does kinda fuck up any movie he makes, isn't his big thing twists and turns in movies? if he fucking changes something dramatically i will personal drive to hollywood and punch him in the face! And i just gotta say, WTF is with aang's arrow?! whats so hard about making a solid blue tattoo?! all im saying is don't fuck this up Shamallan!

M. Night Suckeemalan has messed up his own movies like the village idiots and the crappening... what makes you think he is going to get any better he had a one hit wonder but to cast indians over clearly asian characters is a total bust. not is going to be worthless to wait for the movie on dvd but also its going to be horrid on the theater screens! have you seen what hollywood puked out for dragon ball?! story writers are paid before they write a good story so why do you think its going to be CRAP!!!!! it is the story writers whom ruined every thing from comics, games, anime, tv series, manga, and cartoons!!!

Like someone said before, Avatar is a cartoon, not an anime. Besides, I really enjoy the cartoon myself, but I am not hoping everything is the same as the cartoon. Why? Because we already know what's going to happen, if you watch the show, if you don't, you better get to learning some things before you start judging the movie when it comes out. That's just my opinion on those people who do nothing but speak of the negative. :-)

The show was pretty badass, but M. Night has had a lot of failures recently, hopefully it will be good

I searched up the current cast members and it seems that a lot of the actors are indians.....i dont got anything against indians but come on, the background culture and architectural design and etc are mostly based off of ancient china, cant they at least let more than 1 actor be asian lol??? Quit favoring all the indian actors becuz the director is one T-T

I'm looking forward to this one. I admit M. Night may have fucked up his last few movies with the story, but visually he always seems to get the job done.

im 19 years old and i friggan loved avatar, the show in its entirety, silly fillers aside, was in my opinion a masterpiece, a truly great story, i can only hope the movie is as good as the show. i sometimes imagine what it would of been like (the show) if it wasnt on Nickelodeon, perhaps made for mature audiences and animated as a real anime. blood bending had a lot of potential to be pretty sick.

Shyamalan is one of my favorites directors, and Avatar is a great show, i think it's going to be fantastic!!!

As a certified avatard, I can't wait for this to hit theaters! Shyamalan better not screw it up.
