im glad renner solidified himself in hollywood through a long road its about time another real action hero came up cause im tired of these soft feel nice wannabe action flicks just ordinance and ass whipping for me please!

@Desertpuma No one said it was a reboot...... And the trailer clearly stated it was not Jason Bourne.... Are you just talking to yourself to feel important?

Anyway I'm pretty excited about this movie. Can't wait for some more footage....

This is not Jason Bourne redone

This is not about Bourne specifically. It is about a guy who went through the same program after Jason Bourne. It takes place before the end of Bourne Ultimatim and is based on a series of books by Eric vonLustbader who continued the stories with Ludlum's blessing.

They are not rebooting but telling the story of another graduate of the Bourne program. A program called Outcome (as in controlling the outcome of a situation).

There's Hope

I will hold that I fully enjoyed Matt Damon as Bourne and thought he did a most excellent job. I can understand that after three movies, they need to bring in something new. From what the trailer shows, it looks like they've followed faithfully from the other movies. I think we can expect a good, action-packed film.

Thank God they didn't reboot the movies with someone else.

Matt Damon was good...

But I like some new blood in a franchise. Renner seems like a good fit for a Bourne reboot and this trailer has me really excited.

Plus I didn't know it had Edward Norton in it which is 1000x even more awesome.

I was actually hoping for a reboot.....
i l;ike Jeremy Renner as a support actor....he was great in The Town, MI4, Hurt Locker, just don't see him elevating this franchise...
How do you outdo Matt Damon?

Cannot wait for watching this... I really think Jeremy Renner will be outstanding in this rol (as usual) He will be some fresh air for the franchise and even though Matt Damon will be missed Im sure the movie wont let us down Besides... Rachel Weisz and Ed Norton, cmon! =)

However, the actor for the lead? I hope he grows on me. Guess I should watch the Mission Imposs movie to see if he's a good action guy. Not that my opinion would matter to him. LOL :-)
