I almost thought I was watching a preview for a new SyFy movie, in the vein of Mega Piranha. This movie looks absolutely stupid and of course, it features college students...such a tired premise.

Hey, was the scene with the diver a homage to Aliens, considering James Cameron directed Pirhanas 2? :)

I agree with the above.....these college kids are in a whole bunch of trouble....I enjoyed the original movie. What better way to pay tribute to an american classic than by rebooting the franchise with an all star cast ( Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames).....I'm glad they didn't just throw some noname actors into the mix and hope for the best...THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
