Although I found the acting and the writing in the beginning of the movie to be stiff I found the overall movie to be OK. Is this the only movie or will there be a series based somewhat on the books?

that was the crappiest trailer i have ever seen in my entire life. Probably this ****in **** is gonna ruin the books. Ima watch the movie but its definitiley not gonna be better than Avatar or Harry Potter.

my thoughts

i agree with Awesomeness1 in what he said, i have read all the books and fallen in love with the story of percy jackson & the olympians so i will be very disappointed if they ruin the books name with this movie the trailer has alrady shown something different when he is riding in the elevader and i will be angry with rick riordan if he lets them ruin the book for money i mean i know it won't have all the stuff that's in the book but thay better have all the majer stuff that's in the book along with all the caracters that's in the book mortal, dimigod, god, and monster alike

Dude, the books were absolutely fantastic. They were funny, thrilling, and not the least bit corny. This movie however, appears to have none of that. I will see it, but I'm prepared to be verry disappointed.

WHY IS FOX IN CONTROL!

FOX is known as the company that made such awful movies like X-EN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. Why are they in control of such an epic like this. At least the director is Chris Collumbus, the guy who gave us the first two HARRY POTTER films. So the chances of it being good or bad are 50-50.

WAT THE HELL?

I loved the percy jackson books...i have all of them...and i looked forward to this movie so much but the fact that they hired a 17 year old to play a twelve year old is kind of weird. and the part of grover, who is supposed to be a ginger white kid, is played by an african american. theres nothing wrong with that but they really should stick to the way the author has it or ur gonna hav some pretty angry critics....
