Green Zone

Dear Universal Pictures,

Yeah, I'm looking forward to 'The Informant' more than I am with this film.

Not crazy that they (Matt Damon, Paul Greengrass) may not team-up again for 'Bourne Legacy,' but I am doubting their future plans, together. Maybe if my calender is free I could return to the franchise.

If the rumors are true, I sure hope whoever takes over the reign of 'Bourne' better make sure they have a GREAT script, and everything else will fall into place.

Wats the name of the last song in the trailer

Any action with Matt Damon in it I'm with it. But it doesn't seem as put together as the bourne movies. But I'm willing to watch and give opinions later.

HERESAY WARNING: I heard that Matt Damon was not planning on doing any more Bourne movies because of their level of violence. That being said, this movie looks fairly violent according to that philosophy, and it is the same director as Supremacy and Ultimatum. Hmm?? I need to check my sources.

Now that the Reign Of Error has passed, and the Bush administration has been disassembled we can finally see some interesting (if not dilluted) moves about things we probably already knew, or at least suspected about the Iraqi conflict

BOURNE MILATARY.
WHY NAME IT ANYTHING ELSE.

Looks like a "Body of Lies" (Leonardo DiCaprio) knockoff, just with less brains. In fact, it looks like "Shooter" (Mark Wahlberg) just based in the Middle East. A government conspiracy figured out by some brainy supersoldier who wants justice for the loss of his closest friend's life and/or the loss of innocent lives.

Matt Damon, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Mark Wahlberg were all in "The Departed" too. Coincidence, I think not!

Damon, Amy Ryan, Greg Kinnear, Brendan Gleeson - they've assembled a great cast. Could be good.

This looks like a spinoff of Boune Ultimatum. Looks like a good action flick.

looks like a bourne movie, feels like a bourne movie, why not just make a bourne movie rather than this, i was expecting a dumb but cool bourne, dumb but deadly cool superman

Funny how I was just talking to my friend the other day on when were going to get that Green Zone trailer.

As for the trailer, it looks ****ing awesome. Greengrass is a brilliant director and those who have seen his films will agree. Matt Damon is also on a role lately with his films and hes proven with the Bourne films that hes more than capable of being the lead in a big budget film. These two working together practically guarantees that the film will deliver on all fronts.

The trailer does partly resemble the Bourne trailers, but I think that's because the studio (Universal Pictures) is marketing it as an action film similar to the Bourne movies, when in fact its a war movie with a few action scenes. You cant knock them for this because they don't want this film to flop at the box office like the other war movies did. Green Zone cost $100 million to make, making it the most expensive war movie made. So I can understand Universal's decision to market it as an action film.

Green Zone has already been through a test screening earlier this year with nothing, but positive word of mouth. I'm also most certain this movie will deliver in terms of entertainment and general idea about the Iraq war. This will tide us over till Bourne 4 in summer of 2011.

They may have just as well called it "The Bourne Zone." Do we really need to see another lame hand held movie about the middle east?

i agree, this looks really good. matt is one of my favorites. this might tide me over until the next bourne. if they make it.

Looks like we're finally getting GOOD Iraq War movies.
