Foreign trailer for Eclair.

Orphaned at a very young age, Akio (Hajime Yoshii) spends most of his childhood navigating between children's homes, reform schools, uncaring adoptive parents and the streets. There’s not much happiness for such a child, especially in 1940’s Japan. Nonetheless, Akio finds comfort in the sweetness of pastries and searches for it amongst adults, who are mostly preoccupied with the war raging beyond the country’s borders.
