Feature Trailer
Exclusive feature trailer for Defendor.
Bruised and beaten, arm in a sling, neck in a brace, Arthur Poppington (Woody Harrelson) sits in front of court-appointed psychologist Ellen Park (Sandra Oh). After making her swear to secrecy, Poppington begins to tell the story of his secret life as “Defendor” – yes, that’s an “OR” – spelling is not one of his super powers. By day, Poppington directs traffic around road construction sites, but at night he dons a pair of black tights, a black jersey with a crude “D” duct-taped to his chest, and trawls the streets as his alter ago. A

this a dvd trailerthis is a dvd trailer you morons. if anything kick ass is copying this movie (its not). there arent too many ORINGAL movies released now adays (just like the music industry). more than half of the movies being released are movies that were in theaters when your parent were your age (a couple are from their parent time)

Real Life SuperheroesCitizens, don\'t allow the movies to numb you to the fact that there are Quixotic individuals like me out there in the real world, wearing the masks & tights, trying any way that we can to make the world a better place.

Complete RIpoffThis is a complete ripoff of Save The Green Planet! (2003) a film from South Korea. Look it up! In NO WAY will this be better than the original. DIdn't see any reference to the source material in the trailer either. They better be getting paid or call a lawyer!

Pretty goodThis kinda looks like the Korean movie "Save the green planet" . Where the delusional hero thinks he's saving the earth by capturining and harrassing a public figure, who he thinks is an alien from andromeda.

BM2This appears to be BlankMan 2. I laughed at the first, so I'm sure this will be funny too.

re: just like kick ass.just so an obvious ripoff@kane - you're a moron.
First of all, Defendor is not "Just a kickass rip off" considering that Defendor was written in 2005 and Kick-Ass the comic book did not debut until 2008. But maybe you think that the "Oh hes a normal guy wanting to be a superhero" concept was invented by the creators of Kick-Ass. Do you remember Mystery Men? They were normal guys who wanted to be superheroes, and that movie and comic pre-dates Kick-Ass by more than a decade. Were you not born then? Or maybe you were born then but are just too stupid to remember (I admit, Mystery Men was not a great movie, but still, the concept is the same). But I forgot, your singular devotion to everything Kick-Ass has blinded you to the fact that Kick-Ass itself is not an original concept, you twit.
And as for your comment "hope it bombs as it looks bad compared to Kick Ass", let's see you write and direct a movie and see how your fetid piece of crap turns out, you loser. Why don't you rent the movie at a Redbox after it's released so you only have to pay $1 for it and then critique it for us? Critiquing any movie before you actually watch it is stupid (but I guess that's pretty much on par for you, and it also explains a lot - did you ride the short bus to school when you were a kid?) because as we all know: trailers can be misleading (but I doubt you really care because you seem like the kind of lowlife who would completely stand by your judgment of a movie solely based upon what you see in the trailer).
And lastly, learn how to spell: "Always happends" Like I said, you're a moron.

Not a rip offThis film was in production at the same time, maybe even before Kick Ass.
by kane | February 16, 2010, 5:11AM
just like kick ass.just so an obvious ripoffJust a kickass rip off. Always happends but looks pretty much the usual 2nd rate copy, the wanna be super hero, the girl sidekick and everyone else supporting the Oh hes a normal guy wanting to be a superhero. Yeh right - hope it bombs as it looks bad compared to Kick Ass.
