Cross your Fingers
I hope it does well seem interesting. I hope they stayed as close to the story as possible. A woman trying to help and man not listening. Its usually what happens...

Looks good but...
Was this what she skipped doing Mummy 3 for? Cause that was a terrible idea to put another actress in her place in that movie...

Huh?
WTF? Is there even a story line in this horrible thing? Looks very bad!
I like Rachel and history movies but this...

common theme, intriguing realization
I think it looks like one of those films you hesitatingly start watching but at the end without hesitaion define either as a great film or amazingly dull prodution emphasizing on fictional historical facts.

Movie
I like more roman type shows!

not many white women
I don't think there were many white eurpean women in ancient Egypt. Guess this was directed by another white boy

Agora
Agora is market place in Latin. Let's hope this film finds one. I didn't know a feisty woman tried to stop the fall of the Roman Empire so will probably seek it out.

Looks okay
Gaziza, it's that kind of people that are the reason history repeats so often. Learn while you can.
by johnsbuffalo | August 29, 2009, 3:21PM
eh..
the only reason this looks semi-interesting is because the background music is trying to make it seem so much more epic than it really is. this looks like a tv series on TNT.

Yawn
These kink of movies have been played out and this one seems like it will fail, as it's a period piece about stuff that people don't care about. How bad is it if I"m actually bored by the trailer?

AGORA
Hell Yeah. This Looks good. In the genre of Troy, and Gladiator. Weiz looks hot, and actions scenes look brutal. Can\'t Wait.

It's like a mix
of some really cool visuals and some real tv-movie-looking stuff, but on the other hand like someone else mentioned the director has made some really good films. I'm always up for something that's a little bit different from everything else, so I'm interested. And Rachel Weisz is always watchable.
by randeez | August 28, 2009, 6:35AM
nice
I do like historical movies. This looks like it has some potential.

Interesting
This looks like it will be an engaging film. I've always like Rachel Weisz and though the movie seems to really emphasize human cruelty, it seems there might be some hope as well.
by doggonahogg | August 28, 2009, 5:29AM
Hrm
I like the dirrector and I like Weisz, so I'm sure it will be fine. But since HBO's Rome, everything set in Roman times looks bad in comparison to that show.
