Minions Theatrical Trailer (2015)

Theatrical trailer for Minions.

Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

Minions Theatrical Trailer
Minions first made their big screen debut in Despicable Me, and are now a billion dollar franchise.

At the end of Despicable Me 2, Minions Kevin, Bob, and Stuart can be seen auditioning for this movie.

Co-Director Pierre Coffin voices all 899 minions.

Scarlett Overkill is the first villainous role for Sandra Bullock.

In the movie, the Minions attend 'Villain-Con', which is based on the real-life San Deigo Comic-Con. Scarlett Overkill's big speech takes place in Hall H, which is where most of Comic-Con's biggest panels take place.

Minions
The Minions are back and in this, their first solo movie, we learn how they came to find Gru, their master in both Despicable Me films.

It seems as though the Minions aren't all that great at keeping their masters alive, and they're responsible for a lot of mishaps over time. It's rumored that Minions only live to serve, but they also like to have fun, as this trailer clearly shows.

Minion antics can wear a little thin at times, but there's no denying they have a certain unique charm. Certainly for kids, this movie is a dream come true; plenty of visual gags and lots of hilarious 'Minion speak.'

This trailer holds plenty for adults too, though, especially the way some of the Minion's masters meet their ends, and Stuart's unnatural obsession with fire hydrants.

Minions are a massive franchise now; it's almost impossible to walk into a store and not see them on something; from food, to kid's clothing, to homewares, Illumination haven't missed a trick. Because of that, maybe, there's a bit of Minion overkill going on, but that's not to say they've run their course. While Minions still prove popular, we can fully expect Illumination to cash in all they can, and this will undoubtedly mean that the Minion movie is just the tip of the iceberg.
