Fred and Mick, two old friends approaching eighty years, enjoy their holidays in a nice hotel at the foot of the Alps. Fred, composer and conductor, now retired, has no intention of returning to the musical career he has long abandoned, while Mick, director, still working, rushing to finish the script for his last film. The two friends know that their time is running out and decide to face their future together.
But unlike them, nobody seems to care about the passing of time...
