Second Red Band Trailer for Why Him?.

Of all the guys his daughter could have chosen, Ned's (Bryan Cranston) daughter Stephanie (Zoey Deutch) chose a well-meaning but socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend, Laird (James Franco). And now Laird plans on proposing to her on Christmas, but Laird must first win the approval of his potential father-in-law...which will prove to be a challenging task.

The comedic actor Jonah Hill has now written his fourth feature film:

Why Him? is actually based on the UK television show "Cuckoo", a British sitcom that began airing on September 25, 2012 on BBC and in 2016 began airing worldwide on Netflix. Written by Robin French and Kieron Quirke, Cuckoo stars Taylor Lautner, Greg Davies, Tamla Kari and Helen Baxendale. The series launch became BBC Three's most-watched comedy launch, beating the record set by Bad Education, which debuted the previous month.

Keegan-Michael Key and Zack Pearlman previously worked together on Key's show "Key and Peele" during the "Substitute Teacher" skit.

I definitely was not expecting another Red Band Trailer since I feel we already got enough of the R-rated material in the first one. Plus this is now the fourth trailer for Why Him? which is overkill.

Nothing has changed my view on the film from this red band trailer. But I am worried that Studio is nervous about how good the film is and feels like they have to show us every funny moment to convince us to spend our hard earned money at the theaters and see Why Him? It is hitting theaters at the end of December right smack in the middle of a slew of other films that in my mind are better options. So, for me I will most likely skip seeing this in theaters and catch it On Demand when I am looking for a good laugh.
