Steve Wampler had the same dream as all other rock climbers: to conquer Yosemite’s El Capitan. But Steve is far different from other climbers: he has cerebral palsy. No one with his condition has ever reached the top of the terrorizing sheer wall. With the unconditional support from his wife Elizabeth and their two children, Steve sets off to do the undoable.
Wampler’s Ascent gives us majestic views of nature at its most beautiful and daunting, while inspiring us with a physical feat that has to be seen to be believed.
