During the height of the US-Taliban conflict, a retired Navy SEAL, disguises himself as a Turkish def-mute and sets off for an adventurous trout fishing expedition in Afghanistan. Armed with a bodyguard, a translator, and a handy-cam, George is put into harm’s way when he stumbles across the country’s largest opium harvest and captures it all on film. Tension’s run high as he is granted access to the Afghani drug trade which takes us on a passer-by view of a nation suffering the war wounds of Islamic extremism, heighted political conflict, and oppressed human rights.
