Themba: A Boy Called Hope Trailer (2012)

Themba, a Xhosa youth living in a depressed South African community, dreams of becoming a soccer star. His goal seems farther away than ever when he discovers that his mother has been infected by HIV, and that he too may have contracted the virus as a result of a sexual assualt. However, he realizes that his talents on the soccer field might provide him with a means to help his family œ and after an astounding performance at the Eastern Cape Junior Championships, Themba discovers that sometimes dreams really can come true.
