It’s been 20 years since James’s sister and her two friends vanished into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland while researching the legend of the Blair Witch, leaving a trail of theories and suspicions in their wake. James (James Allen McCune of TV’s SHAMELESS) and his friends Peter (WRECK-IT RALPH’S Brandon Scott), Ashley (Corbin Reid of TV’s DISNEY STAR DARLINGS) and film student Lisa (Callie Hernandez of upcoming LA LA LAND and Ridley Scott’s upcoming ALIEN: COVENANT) venture into the same woods each with a camera to uncover the mysteries surrounding their disappearance.

The films has already been screened to a small audience and has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 8 reviews.

Blair Witch will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival just before being released worldwide.

The first films, The Blair Witch Project, made just over $140 Million worldwide at the box office.

I was expecting to not see too much new footage in this International Trailer as is it is now the third trailer, but we get to see extensive footage from an underground tunnel scene that was not show in either the Teaser Trailer of Trailer.

The tunnel scene looks incredibly terrifying and tense. It plays to most people's fears of darkness and being confined in an very tight space. Once she is locked down there you know there is only one way out, but you do not want her to gown the tunnel because you are just waiting for something bad to happen.
