The Power of Two (2011) Green Ribbon Running Festival

On Sunday, Oct. 4th, 2009, "The Power Of Two" took on the Green Ribbon Running Festival, a large scale sporting event held at Tokyo National Stadium. Designed to promote organ transplantation awareness in Japan, there were over four thousand people from all walks of life in attendance - a large majority of them being runners who competed while a small number of fans, friends, and family cheered them on from the bleachers. The day was a dazzling and inspiring spectacle - one that put Ana and Isa in the national spotlight along side families of organ donors who often go unrecognized in Japan due to stigma and misunderstanding.
