Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell star together in The Killing of a Sacred Deer. They also star in The Beguiled which comes out this year too. The two stars actually began working on The Beguiled just a few weeks after they wrapped filming on this film. Not only will both films come out in 2017, but they both will were in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival...The Beguiled won the Directing award for Sofia Coppola while The Killing of a Sacred Deer shared the Screenplay award with Lynne Ramsay's You Were Never Really Here.
Director Yorgos Lanthimos has directed other films such as The Lobster (also starring Colin Farrell), Venice 70: Future Reloaded, Alps, Dogtooth, and Kinetta.
