In Incredibles 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
It was not until 10 years after the release of the first Incredibles film that Disney's CEO Robert A. Iger and Brad Bird announced there would be a sequel to The Incredibles .
Incredibles 2 will be Pixar's 4th Film to have a Female Protagonist, after Brave (2012), Inside Out (2015), and Finding Dory (2016).
With Incredibles 2 being one on our most anticipated films of the year, I have high hopes for this film. And for good reason, the first film was a hidden gem.
They are off to a good start with this trailer. We finally get to see some footage! But more importantly, we get see how the story line develops with Elastigirl being the hero and Bob being the stay at home dad. There is definitely plenty of comedy with Bob trying to watch after Jack-Jack, but hopefully the story can come full circle at the end.
