Christian Forteski was an average divorced father and businessman, completely foreign to violence and recklessness. When his orderly life was interrupted by the suspicious death of his troubled teenage daughter, Jesse, Christian spiraled into despair. The police concluded the cause of death was drug related, but when Christian is sent a horrific pornographic video of Jesse, he sets out to find answers. But as the ugly truth of Jesse's death unfolds, Christian begins to question the validity of his actions. On his way to finish his undertaking, Christian meets Alice, a teenage hitchhiker, which reminds him of his daughter. They gain a connection and travel together. Yet as the solitude of their journey seems to ease, a dark threat lingers nearby.
