Condensed and final trailer for The Divergent Series: Allegiant does show some never before seen footage from the film with focus on what makes Tris (Shailene Woodley) so special. The latter half makes it a point to show how action dense the first installment in the two-part finale for The Divergent Series will be.
While splitting the final installment in The Divergent Series looks like a cash-grab by Lionsgate, it also buys the studio time before the franchise's "disappointing" conclusion. If you have read the books, you know that Allegiant is not as er, "appreciated", as the first two books. Following a course similar to The Hunger Games, author Veronica Roth didn't feel a happy ending was that realistic or necessary. No plot points needing spoiled, just assume that this franchise isn't going to follow any Disney formula.
It will be curious to see how many events and deaths from the The Divergent Series: Allegiant that Lionsgate decided to keep for this installment while pushing most(?) to the next installment.
All that action and you still smell amazing...
This dystopian society should be gritty, right? Hence why I am having a hard time believing Tris is experiencing hardship when she's freshly showered during every scene and action sequence. Even when the character is showing off a new scratch or battle damage in the trailer, everything other feature on her seems unfazed. I mean, with all this action, do any of these people sweat? Hard to say.
