Based on Nishimura Jun's autobiographies, Antarctic Chef relays the hearty meals and adventures of a research team stationed near the South Pole. Despite living in the freezing cold in the middle of nowhere, he manages to concoct luxurious meals (think foie gras, lobster, and Matsuzaka beef) for the team of eight researchers for whom mealtime soon becomes the greatest joy.
