While the first trailer suggested a film with a much er, tighter cast, the film's callsheet is actually massive. Just take a visit to IMDB to look for yourself.
Though The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a direct to Netflix release, don't think that effected the film's feature length running time. As a matter of fact, at 132 minutes, this is the Coen Brothers' longest films.
We absolutely adored the first trailer for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. The editing and sound mixing were excellent. This final outing takes a slightly different approach, with the sense of providing some sense of story while showcasing some early critical acclaim.
Does it work? Well, not really. At least in the sense of attempting to give any sense of what's going on. It's still hard to follow. And that's okay! The creative editing of the first trailer does return by this preview's final third, which is the definite highlight of this video.
