Joshua Ballard (George Fivas), a brilliant but distressed college student, meets lighthouse keeper Seth Arden (Joe Estevez) at a seaside college town and soon finds himself caught in a dilemma of ideology and destiny. He is ultimately forced to embark on a journey of self-discovery about love and life, when an unexpected friendship with the lighthouse keeper's young niece, Andrea (Jenell Slack), opens his eyes to the acceptance of his friends (Lindsay Pulsipher) in this memorable summer that saved his life.
