Steve Burrows, a geeky young accountant working for Kensington Enterprises, is about to turn 30 and feels his life is going nowhere. He's been stuck in the same dead end job for years, and his boss hates him.
Steve's only escape from his humdrum life are his elaborate daydreams, which are a great annoyance to his co-workers, and especially to his superiors.
One day while transporting some boxes of files, Steve gets off the elevator on the wrong floor and discovers a bloodthirsty cult of "Shadow Dwellers" performing human sacrifices in his office building.
